Draft tube baffle crystallizer ---DTB Cryatllizer 

The flow guide (DTB) crystallizer is a design of a hybrid suspension product (MSMPR), suitable for vacuum cooling crystallization and has a stable evaporation rate. Such a design can be designed as a device with very low compact investment, without the need for heating (or a small amount of heating).

 

DTB mold, turbulence mold with through pipe and baffle, is a typical modern industrial continuous crystallizer. It is most widely used. It is the best continuous crystallizer, no matter vacuum evaporation or vacuum flash cooling. It consists of a heating chamber, an evaporative crystallization chamber, a circulating pump, a vertical axial flow pump, a crystallizing area, an evaporation zone and a mother liquid region (baffle). The size of the crystal is larger than that of the FC type, the particle size is 0.2-1.2mm, the particle is homogeneous and the surface is clean. Different products and crystal form characteristics are different. But within a certain range, the particle size can be adjusted, which is the biggest characteristic of the DTB mold.

 

The structure design of DTB mold is more complicated. The vacuum evaporation is equipped with a heating chamber and a condensate bucket. The vacuum flash cooling is only achieved by evaporating crystallization chamber. The design area should be designed according to the different settling velocity of evaporation area, crystalline area and mother liquid area, so as to calculate the diameter of the mould. The settlement velocity is determined by the properties of the crystalline material. In general, the flow tube rising velocity is less than or equal to 1m/s, the evaporation chamber sedimentation rate of less than 0.2m/s and the crystallization zone settling velocity is less than or equal to 0.1m/s, the mother liquor area is less than or equal to 0.05m/s. The design of vertical axial flow pump is the key of DTB crystallizer. It is a special axial pump with large flow rate, low lift, low speed and large impeller diameter. The size of crystal granularity is closely related to its design.
