Product Introduction

In histopathology, the tissue must be fixed in time and effectively before the subsequent embedding and sectioning can be completed. The role of tissue fixation is to maintain the inherent morphology and structure of tissues and cells, prevent bacterial corrosion and autolysis of tissue cells, preserve the inherent substances in cells, coagulate intracellular proteins, and minimize or terminate endogenous and exogenous The enzyme reaction keeps the cells or tissues basically the same as the substances in life, and can also harden the tissues and facilitate the cutting of the tissues. For some infectious specimens, it can prevent the spread of diseases; keep the general specimens. Finally, fixation can also enhance the effect of dyeing.

The main component of the in-situ hybridization fixative (animal) of this product is 4% paraformaldehyde, with 0.1 M phosphate buffer as the solvent, pH 7.0-7.5@25°C, treated with DEPC, effectively inactivating RNase in the solution, for special use For fixation, samples that require subsequent nucleic acid in situ hybridization detection.

Storage and transportation

Transport at room temperature; store in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, valid for 24 months.

Instructions

Fresh tissue specimens are quickly immersed in this product. The ratio of fixative solution to tissue is not less than 1:10. The tissue mass should not be too thick. ≤5 mm is the best. The fixation time is generally 1-4 h/mm, or fixation for 24 h. Follow-up operations can be performed, and the fixed time can be appropriately extended for large specimens.

Climbing slides of cells cultured in vitro were fixed within 15 min.

Precautions

1. Please use it in a well-ventilated environment, and protect it from inhalation.

2. To ensure that the fixative fluid fully penetrates the tissue, the thickness of the tissue should not exceed 5 mm, and ensure that the amount of fixative fluid is sufficient. If the volume is not large enough, the fixative can be replaced 2-3 times during fixation.

3. Please tighten the cap in time after use to prevent the active ingredients from volatilizing.

4. For your safety and health, please wear lab coats and disposable gloves for operation.
