Stainless steel sewage pump product overview

      PW and PWF type sewage pumps are single-stage, single-suction and cantilever centrifugal sewage pumps. The pump suction port is axially horizontal, and the pump discharge port can be installed horizontally or vertically as needed. It is mainly composed of pump cover, pump casing, impeller, shaft seal, shaft, and bracket. The shaft seal adopts a novel double-end mechanical seal structure. The pump and the motor are mounted on a common chassis and driven directly by the motor through a flexible coupling. The pump has the advantages of high efficiency, remarkable energy saving, stable operation, reliable performance and convenient maintenance.

Stainless steel sewage pump application range

1. PW ordinary sewage pump can transport sewage, containing suspended solid particles, long fiber materials and domestic wastewater. The pump body is made of high quality cast iron and the medium temperature does not exceed 100 °C.

2, PWF type corrosion-resistant sewage pump can transport acidic, alkaline or other corrosive sewage, widely used in chemical, petroleum, light industry, food, pharmaceutical, brewing, environmental protection and sewage treatment industries. The pump body and flow parts are made of 304 stainless steel and the medium temperature is not higher than 100 °C.

Stainless steel sewage pump structure description

This type of pump mainly consists of: pump cover (1), pump body (2), impeller (3), shaft (15), shaft seal (4), bearing box (11) and coupling components. Figure 1: Structure Diagram

The pump outlet is vertically upwards and can also be installed in a horizontal direction. The pump is directly driven by a flexible coupling (or the belt drive can be changed as needed).

There are only two curved blades in the impeller, so the flow path is wide and can pass through the general suspended particles.

There are 4 sub-blades on the back of the impeller to balance the axial thrust. The impeller undergoes static balance test experience during manufacture.

The direction of rotation of the pump is seen clockwise from the drive end.

The bearing housing bearings are lubricated with thin oil, the oil level is indicated by the oil mark, and the oil level should be at the normal oil level line.

The pump shaft seal is sealed by oil seal group, with good sealing performance and convenient replacement.

The sealing ring is made of cast iron and is attached to the pump cover and can be replaced with spare parts after wear.

The PW horizontal sewage pump can transport acidic, alkaline or other corrosive sewage at temperatures below 80 °C. The PW horizontal sewage pump is widely used in chemical, petroleum, light industry, food, pharmaceutical and environmental protection industries. PW type horizontal sewage pump performance range: flow Q is 10 ~ 125m3 / h; head H is 10 ~ 18m, the material of the overcurrent parts are ZG1Cr18Ni9 and HT200. The PW horizontal sewage pump is a single-stage, single-suction, cantilever-type corrosion-resistant centrifugal sewage pump. The pump suction port is axially horizontal, and the pumping outlet can be installed horizontally and vertically as needed.

Assembly and disassembly

Check each component and component for defects that affect the assembly, and then wipe it clean before assembly.

1. Prepare paper mats, wire plugs, and pipe plugs and attach them to the respective components.

2. Install the seal ring, shaft seal box, oil mark, oil hole cover and felt  into the pump cover, bearing body, bearing box and bearing cover.

3. First install the bearing into the two ends of the shaft, put it into the bearing housing together, and then install the bearing gland.

4. Install the bearing body, bearing (4PW without) oil seal and washer, impeller, gasket and impeller nut in turn and tighten, then install the pump body and pump cover.

Disassembly is the opposite of assembly.

installation

1) Remove the base oil and dirt and place the base on the foundation.

2) Check the level of the base with a spirit level and allow it to be leveled with 

3) Water the base and anchor bolt holes with cement.

4) After the cement has dried up, check whether the base and anchor bolts are loose. After proper fitting, tighten the nuts and check the level again.

5) Clean the support plane of the base and the plane of the pump and motor foot, then install the pump and motor on the base.

6) Check whether the level is consistent with the center of the motor. The inconsistency can be adjusted by the thin iron piece to be concentric (the thin piece of iron should not exceed 3 pieces), and the gap between the couplings should be 2-3mm.

The difference between the upper, lower, left and right sides of the measuring coupling shall not exceed 0.1 mm. The difference between the large and small gaps between the end faces of the two couplings shall not exceed 0.3 mm. The shape and installation dimensions of the pump are shown in Figure 4. table 5.
