Carboxymethyl Cellulose(CMC) Textile Grade is an anionic polymer with clarified solution dissolved in cold or hot water. CMC is an excellent sizing agent in yarn or warp sizing,high performance printing paste thickener in dye printing.

CMC function as high performance printing paste thickener

CMC can be used as high performance thickener in textile dye printing.It can evenly mix and suspend, stabilize the sizing agent,solvents and water. It is stable viscosity,good filtration and excellent pentration with unique properties of pseudoplasticity.

Carboxymethyl cellulose is a light cream to white free flowing powder or granulate, that readily dissolves in water to form clear, viscous solutions.
 
Our designated CMC are particularly suited for use as binders and provide high strength to the unfired substrate at relatively low addition levels whiel producing excellent plasticity,good suspensions,uniform slurries and low residue upon firing.
 
Our CMC is used as the most efficient binders,thickeners and stabilizers in ceramic glazing to provide:
 
* Assisting in the formulation of stable glaze suspensions
* Tailoring the flow and application to the situation
* Directly controlling the drying rate of the glaze as it is applied
* Increasing the mechanical strength of unfired glaze surfaces
* Promoting uniform pigment dispersions for uniform color
 
We recommend low to medium viscosity CMC with typical addition level 0.1-0.5% against weight depending on the final desired characteristics of the glaze.
 
Besides glazing,our CMC can be used in whole process during ceramic production.
 

Recommend addition: 0.5%-3.0% on total formulation adjustable depending on desired characteristic of final product
