Description:
Acyclovir (ACV), also known as acycloguano-sine. It is primarily used for the treatment of herpes simplex infections, chickenpox, and shingles. It can be taken by mouth, applied as a cream.
Application:
1. Herpes simplex virus infection: used for the initial and recurrent cases of genital herpes virus infection, oral administration of the product for the prevention of recurrent cases.
2. Herpes zoster: treatment for mild cases of herpes zoster with normal immune function and immunodeficiency.
3. Treatment of chickenpox in immunodeficiency patients.
