Mini Prism: Ø25.4mm;Accuracy:≤8"; Offset: +17.5mm
Leica type Mini Prism with plastic holder, circular bubble, c/w with (4x30cm), pole.
Conveniently stored in the instrument container, Mini Prisms offer a high positional accuracy due to their small size.
It has a built-in leveling bubble and supplied with an attachable spike.
With this arrangement a point can be measured with very high precision.
With red painted 10cm bands.
Prism can be set (1/4" screw) at every 30cm position
For all close-range applications involving total stations
Flexible prism system with four screw-on aluminium rods permitting five different prism heights (10, 40, 70, 100, 130cm)
Range with TPS300: 1500m (4920ft) under average conditions
Holder and housing of red polymer, fiber-reinforced
ACCURACY OF THE REFLECTOR
A circular prism is manufactured by cutting the corner from a solid glass cube. This creates three mutually orthogonal reflecting surfaces that reflect any light rays back towards their source.
ANGULAR BEAM DEVIATION
The angular difference between the entering and exiting beam is known as Angular Beam Deviation. A high deviation significantly reduces the returned signal strength and hence the measurement range.
After manufacture, each prism is measured by Zygo inferometer to determine its beam deviation.
REFLECTIVE COATING
Leica prisms have a copper coating on the reflecting surfaces. Copper offers a very high reflectance of infrared beams. Being robust and resistant to corrosion it has a long useable life.
