Rubber material is suitable for slurry with the maximum particle size less than 10 m(average  particle size 3 mm).Its wear resistance is better than the metal material, so the transport of no edges and corners of fine particle slurry is mostly used rubber pump.Although ceramic material has the characteristics of high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, but because of its more brittleness, it is difficult to be used in slurry pump.However, ceramic coating is formed on the metal surface by means of surface coating, which not only gives play to the wear and corrosion resistance characteristics of ceramic materials,However, there are still many problems to be solved in the practical application of this method. but Rubber material is more mature than others.
