Galantamine is an alkaloid substance derived from several plant species; most notably Narcissus (daffodil), Leucojum aestivum (snowflake) and Lycoris radiata (red spider lily). It can also besynthesized in labs.
Galantamine is the active constituent in pharmaceuticals including Reminyl, Razadyne, Nivalin and Lycoremine.

 Function
(1) Anti-cholinesterase .
(2) Stimulate and inhibit acetylcholinesterase, regulate intracephalic nicotine receptor position.
(3) Cures the infantile paralysis sequelae, sweeny and myasthenia gravis pseudoparalytica, etc.
(4) Improve the recognition function of light, mild Alzheimer disease patients significantly, and delay the process of function decrease of brain cells.
(5) Improve the conduction between nerve and muscle.
