Material of Gabion mesh: Galfan, mild steel wire (low carbon steel wire), hot-dipped galvanized wire, Zn-Al alloy steel wire, PVC coated wire

Wire diameter: Hot-dipped galvanized mesh wire diameter is 2.0mm--4.0mm, PVC coated mesh wire diameter is 3.0mm--4.0mm, Selvedge wire and tie wire diameter are more thicker than the mesh wire

Hole shape: Hexagonal

Function of Gabion box:
1. Flexible:
Triple twisted hexagonal steel wire mesh structure tolerates against huge forces without breaking or cracking. It adapts itself to some degree of movement.
2. Durable:
Galvanized wire mesh has very long life. If the galvanized wire coated with PVC, the life of structure gets much longer. Better for hydraulic works
3. Permeable:
The hexagonal wire mesh structure of the Gabion filled with stones provide effective permeability throughout the structure, they are self-draining.
4. Economy:
Gabions Structures are very economical compared to the conventional structures especially when the stones filling the structure are close to the work area. Low maintenance is required for the construction works (Life Time Economy)
