Ansen Medical Splint Orthopedic Fiberglass Splints made of knitted fiberglass fabric, water-activated polyurethane resin, and two layers non-woven fabric. It uses environment friendly materials, and mainly used for the external fixation of fracture and common orthopedics.

ANSEN SPLINT FEATURES

1. Good Air Permeability: 

The holes on the product makes good air-permeability, and it can prevent skin from infection, itch or smell which is common in plaster bandage.

2.Excellent X-Ray Permissbility:

This product has much better X-Ray permissibility compared to plaster bandage. Because of that, doctors can examine the wounded part without removing the bandage. Therefore, it helps the accuracy and integrity of examination.

3.High Strength Light Weight:

This product's strength is 20 times that of plaster bandage, but its weight is only one fifth of it. Therefore, orthopedic casting tape has the nature of "high strength low weight". It can protect the body without bringing extra weight; and it can improve the local blood circulation and therefore help healing.

4.Waterproof:

Because of the nature of the materials, orthopedic casting tape is waterproof. It will prevent the body from water and therefore prevent second infection.

5.Environmental Friendly:

The material of this product can be fully burnt causing no harm to the environment.

6.Easy Operating:

The curing time of this product is only 30 minutes making it easier for doctors to apply; and the casting tape has good moulding ability so that it can be shaped by real needs.

 

SPECIFICATIONS

OPERATIONS

1. Select the different size according to different part of body without wearing glove for doctors
2. After opening the package soak the splint in home temperature(21Celsius degree-24 Celsius degree) water for 4-6 second and squeeze it 2-3 times to make the outer interlining soak water enough.
3. Squeeze the excess water or remove it with towel.
4. Let the inner side interlining fabric cling to firming part with soft cast or medical gauze to twine according to your need to moulding.
5. Solidify in 3 minutes and bear weight in 30 minutes.
6. Generally the operation will be finished in 3 minutes.

The inside interlining fabric is air-permeability and bacteriostasis, and outside interlining fabric suck water well to make the splint water-activated thoroughly and solidified in short time utterly.
5. It can be water-activated to use just with home temperature.
6. It can be removed with common scissors
