The Biomass Rotary Wood Sawdust Dryer is used for pellet sawdust or powder sawdust. Wet materials are continuously sent into the drum through a screw conveyer and then get separated and pushed by the high-speed hot flow. The moisture in wet materials is taken away in this process and then we get powder or pellet dry materials.

  Wood Sawdust Rotary Dryer consists of a heating furnace, feed port, rotating cylinder, delivery pipe, dust collector, and discharge port.

1.   Rational internal structure, high efficiency, and remarkable energy-saving. According to our inspection result, the heat efficiency is about 85% more than a traditional dryer.

2.   Cylinder self- insulation thermal efficiency can reach above 70%  (traditional single-cylinder dryer heat efficiency is only 35%), so it can improve thermal efficiency at least 35%.

3.   Covers an area of 50% lower than a single drum dryer, and civil work investment can reduce 50%, power consumption reduced by 40%. In addition, The external cylinder has higher heat preservation and heat insulation effect, so outer tube surface temperature is near to room temperature, it will not only keep high heat energy utilizing efficiency, but also can improve the working environment and conditions.

4.   It can easily adjust the final moisture according to the client's requirement.

5.   Low outlet temperature and long service time of dust collection system to keep clean working environment.

6.   New-type driving system design. It adopts a tug wheel transmission without gear transmission. The motor adopts the frequency controlling the motor, and the rotating speed of the cylinder could be adjustable according to the moisture, production capacity.

7.  Using automatic temperature monitoring and controlling system, make operation more convenient.

  Sawdust dryer is widely used for the drying of straw briquette, charcoal, wood pellet fuel, sawdust briquette, corn straw, soybean straw, cotton stalk, wheat straw, sorghum stalk, wood shavings, sawdust, ginkgo leaf, mulberry leaves, and other fiber materials. Dry material can be used as biomass fuel or further processed into biomass pellets, biomass pallets, etc.

  Sawdust is fully dried in the rotary drum and gets separated again before entering the conveying pipe for further drying. The baffler can keep the impurities out of the conveying pipe and ensures the high quality of dried sawdust. With the combined work of rotary drum and injection pipe, wet materials are fluidized and fully contacted with the hot flow.
