APPLICATION
ASV Vacuum Pump System is widely used in Transformer Industry, UHV DC converter transformer, UHV Converter Station Transformer, Power Supply Bureau, Power Plant, Transformer manufacture for vacuum-pumping device ,especially applicable for transformer vacuum drying, it is the newest intelligent vacuum-pumping device at present. The ASV Double-stage Vacuum Pumping System is suitable for evacuation of Transformer Tank. Each section of machine will be used high quality material. The capacity of the system varies according to the size and capacity of installed transformers.

The plant can be portable, mounted on four castor wheels with lifting hooks. The plant will be suitable for outdoor use. The design of plant will be such that parts can be easily replaced if required.

The plant comprises of Roots Rotary combination of highly efficient pumping capacity. Vacuum pump and Roots (Mechanical Booster pump), with all necessary accessories to perform the complete evacuation of transformer's tank.

DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE
Vacuum Pump Set evacuates the transformer for field service and can hold a vacuum on the transformer of less than 1 Torr or 133 pascal.
The unit can be used for evacuating different gaseous and liquid media. They are mainly used in the electric industry and in the chemical industry. Pump speeds and operating vacuum can be customized. ASSEN warrants the plant supplied under this specification against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of twenty four (24) months from date of shipment. ASSEN's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or furnishing, a similar part to replace any part, which was proven to be defective within the warranty period.
