Glutamate is one of the 20 common proteins α One of the amino acids. As a precursor of glutamine, proline and arginine. L-glutamate is a coding amino acid in protein synthesis. It is a non essential amino acid for mammals, which can be transformed from glucose in vivo. Glutamate is ubiquitous in nature. Glutamate is one of the structural amino acids of protein or peptide and free amino acid. L-type amino acid is delicious.
USES & EFFECTIVENESS
1. Glutamate participates in the joint deamination centered on glutamate dehydrogenase (glutamate is deaminated).
2. In blood ammonia transport, glutamine synthetase catalyzes the combination of glutamate and to produce glutamine. Glutamine is neutral, non-toxic and easy to penetrate the cell membrane. It is the main transport form of ammonia.
3. In the glucose alanine cycle pathway, glutamate dehydrogenase in muscle catalyzes α- Ketoglutarate combines with ammonia to form glutamate, and then glutamate reacts with pyruvate under the catalysis of alanine aminotransferase α- Ketoglutarate and alanine.
4. In the metabolic pathway of bioactive substances, glutamate itself is an excitatory neurotransmitter, which widely exists in the brain and spinal cord and is formed by decarboxylation of glutamate γ- Aminobutyric acid is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, which exists widely in organisms.
5. In the amino acid synthesis pathway, glutamate is an important precursor for the synthesis of glutamine, proline, arginine and lysine.
6. In the ornithine cycle (urea synthesis) pathway, glutamate dehydrogenase in mitochondria removes the amino group of glutamate and provides free ammonia for the synthesis of carbamoyl phosphate; Glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase in the cytoplasm transfers the amino group of glutamic acid to oxaloacetic acid, which forms aspartic acid and enters the ornithine cycle. Glutamic acid indirectly provides the second amino group for the cycle.
