High silica fiberglass is inorganic fiber that contents more than 96% of SiO2. high silica chopped strand is used for reinforcing phenolic resin and forming ablation resistant blocks.

Because of its properties of chemical stability, high temperature resistance and corrossion resistant, it's widely used for shipbuilding industry, fire control, oven heat insulation, thermal insulation and protection for welding.
