Ferulic acid is a rice polyphenolic compound and interestingly it is a source of vanillin. Ferulic acid together with dihydroferulic acid, is a component of lignocelluloses, conferring cell wall rigidity by cross linking lignin and polysaccharides. It is commonly found in seeds of plant such as rice, wheat and oats. Now, we have successfully developed ferulic acid, 100% extracted and purified from the rice bran with our technology.
