Pyrolytic graphite is a new type of carbonaceous material. It is a high crystalline oriented pyrolytic carbon which is chemically vapor deposited on a graphite substrate of 1800 ºC ~ 2000 ºC under a certain furnace pressure. It has high density (2.20 g / cm), high purity (impurity content (0.0002%) and thermal, electrical, magnetic and mechanical anisotropy.
The methods can be divided into direct heating method and indirect heating method:
(1) Direct heating method itself generates high temperature power. This method is suitable for the sediment thinner, simple shape and smaller parts. It is suitable for research work.
(2) Indirect heating method The substrate is placed inside or outside the heating element, heated by the heating element and heated to a high temperature. This heating method can be resistance heating and induction heating. In particular, this method is more suitable for induction heating to take larger, thick and complex shape parts. Large-scale deposition furnace hot zone diameter of 2500mm, about 3000mm high.
