SELF-ADHESIVE WATERPROOFING TAPE/BAND
DESCRIPTION
BYD TAPE is a self-adhesive TAPE which consists of an SBS rubberizedasphalt compound which is integrally laminated to Aluminum foil, HDPE, PET, PP,PE or high density cross laminated polyethylene film. BYD TAPE is specificallydesigned to be self- adhered to a prepared substrate providing a high-performancewaterproofing barrier.
FEATURES
SBS membrane flexible at low temperatures.Fully adhered system prevents lateral watermovement.
NO flame required.
Factory controlled thickness.
Negligible odour during application.
USES
BYD TAPE is designed foruse on concretefoundation walls, Plywood, Steel, Pipe, plaza decks,tunnel, and parking decks in both vertical and horizontaiorientation. BYD tape is an ideal membrane for usein interior applications such as mechanical roomslaboratories and wet-rooms.
LIMITATIONS
Non-resistant to oils and solvents, Not designed for use in direct contact with potable water or permanentexposure and must be covered to prevent damage from sunlight. Good practice calls for the membrane to becovered immediately following application. Refer to minimum cure thme requirements of sealant and masticsprior to applying polystyrene insulation Use Rubber Asphalt Emulsion with polystyrene form foundations. Donot use in contact with flexible Pvc/vinyl products.
