What's it do?

Used in Arduino projects for a suitable method of connecting peripherals to the Arduino pins where it is important that the wires don't fall out or get damaged.

 

This item also has pass through headers to allow the conventional use of jumpers and to stack other Arduino shields on top.

 

lastly has perforations for through hole components such as LEDs, switches and other readout boards using a pitch of 2.54mm increments.

 

Solder can be applied to both sides of the board.

 

There are no tracers used on the perforation section so jumper cables are required allowing for a flexible installation of Arduino sensory hardware however there are tracers joining the SOP28 SMD pins to a through hole.

 

To utilise the additional pins that the Arduino Mega offered each digital pin on the end section traces to a through hole numbered 22-53.
