What is Zinc Bacitracin?Zinc Bacitracin as a feed additive, mainly used to promote the growth of livestock and poultry, prevention and control of livestock and poultry bacterial diarrhea and Treponema caused by pig blood, dysentery and so on. Function&Application
1 As a feed additive, mainly used to promote the growth of livestock and poultry, prevention and control of livestock and poultry bacterial diarrhea and Treponema caused by pig blood, dysentery and so on. Bacitracin oral almost no absorption, mostly in 2 days with the feces, it is not easy to residues in animal products; bacteria rarely produce resistant to bacitracin, also with no cross resistance to other antibiotics, and penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin, chlortetracycline and colistin have synergistic effect
2 It is a polypeptide antibiotic bacitracin, against gram positive bacteria has a bactericidal effect, the main mechanism is to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, but also with the cell membrane and the sensitive bacteria, the integrity of the cell membrane damage, leading to intracellular material outflow. An effective inhibition of gram positive bacteria and some gram negative bacteria; bacteria resistant to peptide zinc are slower and no cross resistance with other antibiotics.
3 Peptide antibiotics inhibit the dephosphorylation of pyrophosphate (lipid), thereby inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.
