The differences between OLTC transformer and General no load tap changer transformer:
1. The biggest advantage of OLTC transformer is can adjust voltage on load under the condition of without a power outage; But general transformer need to cut the power first and adjust the voltage manually.
2. The price of OLTC transformer will expensive than the normal one, the installation cost will get higher also. If it occurs failure, the cost of maintenance will higher as well as.
