General Introduction



Type-A Silica gel is also called TS6 silica gel and belongs to finepored silicagel. It looks transparent or
translucent vitreous in appearance, in the shape of sphere and lumpiness.

What is strongly recommended here is irregular granular for A-type, narrow pore form, with particle-size
as 0.5-2.0 mm, 1.0-3.15.0 mm, 0.2-1.0 mm etc, which is widely used nowadays in phamaceutical-making
industry.
 
Main function:
Silica gel mainly indicates its special characteristics with loads of micro-pores in its inner structure, which is
why relevant humidity and odors whatever may be easily adsorbed.


Main use:


Type-A silica gel is frequently used for drying and moisture-resistance, also as catalyst carriers, adsorbents, separators and variable-pressure adsorbents, tiny package desiccant bag,etc.

In general, Silica Gel comprises Type A (finepored type), Type B (widepored type)  Type C (widepored type) in in the form of regular and irregular granular.
