Flat welded ring loose flange

Flat welding ring loose sleeve flange is a movable flange piece, which is generally matched with water supply and drainage accessories (the most common on the expansion joint).

When the manufacturer leaves the factory, both ends of the expansion joint have a flange, which is directly connected with the pipeline and equipment in the project with bolts. 

The purpose of using flat welding ring loose flange is generally to save material, the structure is divided into two parts, the pipe part of a head and pipe connection, a made flanging, flange part set in the flanging edge. 

Flanges are made of low grade material, while pipes are made of the same material as pipes to save material.
