Light Rubber Sheathed and Insulated Flexible Cable H05rr-F
 

Light rubber cable, used for easy-duty and medium mechanical loads in dry areas. Suitable for household, kitchens, offices and workshops (for inst. tailoring) for smaller electrical devices (washing-machines, vacuum-cleaners, irons, household appliances, soldering sets etc.) and mobile devices operating in heavier conditions, such as light industrial and agricultural machines. Not suitable for permanent outdoor use. Ozone-resistant, allowed contact with oils and greases.

 

Construction

 

Conductor:          bare or tinned copper conductor, fine wired stranded, class 5 acc. to IEC 60228 / HD 383 /                                    DIN VDE 0295

 Insulation:          rubber compound on ethylene-propylene basis (EPM, earlier: EPR), i.e. EI4 acc. to DIN VDE                                0282 part 1       

 

Sheath:              rubber compound on ethylene-propylene basis (EPM, earlier: EPR) or on natural and poly- butadiene-styrene rubber basis  (NR + PBS, earlier: SBR), i.e. EM3 acc. to DIN VDE 0282 part 1, extruded sheath able to fill up the interstices between the conductors
