API 6A wellhead equipment Casing head for oil production

The casing head is classified into two types, including the bottom drive head and the middle drive head spool. It is a key component connecting the casing pipe and various wellhead devices.
Main Functions
1. It supports the partial or entire weights of all casing pipes except for the conduit via the hanger.
2. It connects the blowout preventer and other wellhead devices.
3. Pressure sealing is formed between the internal and external casing strings.
4. It provides exit for the pressure accumulated between the two layers casing pipes.
5. In case of emergency, the fluid as kill or extinguishing fluid can be pumped into the well via the side hole of casing head.
6. The casing head has excellent performance for special operations.
a. If the well cementation quality is inferior, supplementary cementing can be performed via the side hole.
b. For acid-fracturing operation, the pressure equilibrium liquid can be injected via the side hole.
7. This product also acts as a transition piece for the middle casing spool, tubing head, Christmas tree or other upper wellhead devices. The middle casing spool has the same features and functions as that of the lower casing head. Their difference lies in that the lower casing head assembly is built for suspending the surface casing and the middle casing spool assembly is used for hanging the intermediate casing.
In addition, the casing head and the hanger are provided in wide varieties. They also can be custom-made according to your actual needs, such as C-22, C-29, etc.
