Description
The WDS-1500 SI Inserter is used to send EPG information with EPG software. It is also used to send TS stream which used for STB upgrade. It adopts full hardware method, more easy to achieve high efficiency and high stability. The WDS-1500 SI injector packs the service information and EPG information from IP input into the standard TS format and then outputs to its 20 ASI interfaces respectively. ASI splitter is not needed, which simplified the system. The different stream from each ASI output port can be transmitted separately to a multiplexer. The multiplexer receives only the necessary SI information, so there is no need for PID filtering and PID mapping by multiplexer. The expansions of EPG system only need quantity increase of injector.
