Valve seat extruder also called "Valve Seat Puller" is a service tool, consisting of hydraulic pump assy., pressure gauge, puller head, hose coupling assy., stem, jack, wing nut, hex nut; which is used in the drilling sites for pulling the installed valve seats from mud pump fluid end module. During the process of replacing the valves seat and maintaining the mud pumps, this tool will be more effective to finish the maintained work with fewer manpower and shorter time. It is suitable to API#4, API#5, API#6, API#7 of 3-WEB, 4-WEB, FULL OPEN seats of EMSCO/BOMCO F-500, F-800, F-1000, F1300, F1600, FA-1300/1600, FB-1300/1600, OPI-700HDL, PAH, GARDNER DENVER PZ-7, PZ-8, PZ-9, PZ-10, PZ-11, IDECO T-500, T-800, T-1000, T-1300, T-1600, OILWELL A-560-PT, A-600-PT, A-850-PT, A-1100-PT, A-1400-PT, A-1700-PT, NATIONAL 7P50, 8P80,9P100,10P130, 12P160. This hydraulic valve seat puller was developed for two reasons:
A. To eliminate damage to fluid ends caused by removing valve seats with a cutting torch;
B. To reduce the possibility of personal injury.
The puller assembly are passed 25Mpa pressure test, the complete comes with a hose so that the hand operated hydraulic pump can be placed at a safe distance from the mud pump during pulling operations. The hose, puller assembly, and pump are equipped with quick disconnect couplings for easy handling. The pump comes complete with a pressure gauge. The numerically controlled machined and heat treated puller head of high alloy steel offer maximum strength without the stress concentration characteristic of torch burned heads. The components are made from high quality cast steel for impact and wear resistance.
