Safe use of welding torch

 (1) The oxygen rubber hose is attached to the oxygen joint so that the torch is connected to the oxygen.
 At this point, the acetylene regulating valve handwheel is opened, then
the oxygen regulating handwheel is turned on, and the finger is pressed
on the acetylene joint.
 If the finger feels a suction force, it indicates that the injection is normal.

 (2) the acetylene rubber pipe is connected to the acetylene joint after the
welding torch is normal.The oxygen intake joint is generally required to be
securely connected with the oxygen rubber hose, which is tightened with a
clamp or annealed wire.
 
(3) after the above inspection is qualified, the fire can be ignited.
 The oxygen regulator should be opened slightly and the acetylene regulator
shall be opened.
 The flame should be adjusted immediately after ignition to make the flame
reach its normal shape.

 (4) the acetylene regulating valve should be shut off before it is used, and then the
oxygen regulating valve shall be closed to prevent the flame from coming down and
producing soot.
 In the course of use, if a tempering occurs, the acetylene regulator shall be shut down quickly and the oxygen regulator shall be closed.

 (5) in the course of use, if there is a leakage phenomenon in the gas path or valve, the work should be stopped immediately and the air leakage should be eliminated before it can be used again.

 (6) all gas paths of the welding torch shall not be contaminated with grease, in case the oxygen meets grease and the explosion is ignited.

 (7) after the welding torch is stopped, it should be hung in the proper place, or remove the rubber tube and store the welding torch in the tool box.

 Common failures and troubleshooting methods 

 (1) the sound of "beep, beep" and continuous fire suppression.
 It is because the welding torch has been used for too long, the impurities in acetylene, especially calcium hydroxide and other ash are attached too thick to the inner wall of the ejection straw.

 (2) low shooting ability and small flame.It is due to oxygen gas valve needle ash thicker or because oxygen valve needle bend and shoot straw hole and oxygen regulating valve hole not coaxial cause, should clear the ash and adjust the needle.

(3) there is no suction capacity, and there is also a counter-current phenomenon.

(4) the flame suddenly becomes small when it is ignited.

(5) reverse flow of acetylene.

(6) in welding large welding parts or preheating welding parts, continuous fire fighting and other phenomena occur.
 In this case, acetylene should be turned off, and the welding nozzle should be immersed in water to cool or tighten the welding nozzle, or wet the asbestos rope with water, and wrap the welding nozzle and the mixing pipe.
