The coalescing filter is a 2stage separator targeting the removal of solid particulates and fine droplets to provide the highest clean gas conditions. The first stage consists of a multicyclone separator that removes solids and liquids. As the first stage (MultiCyclones) is explicitely exposed to erosion damage - caused by the incoming particulates - a special arrangement of the cyclones is provided.
