1 The Introduction of 5083 Aluminum sheet
A tanker is a tank-shaped transportation vehicle used to carry various liquids, liquefied gases and powdered goods. These goods include gasoline, crude oil, various viscous oils, vegetable oils, liquid ammonia, wine, water, and various acids/alkaline liquids, cement lead oxide powder, etc.
In view of the superior performance of aluminum alloy tanker in economy, environmental protection and safety. Alloy aluminum plates have become the choice of tanker materials. Commonly used materials include 5083 aluminum plate for oil tanker, 5754 aluminum plate for oil tanker, 5454 aluminum plate for oil tanker, 5182 aluminum plate for oil tanker, and 5059 aluminum plate for oil tanker,etc.

Conventional oil tanker aluminum plates are generally within 12.5 meters in length, 2.2 meters in width, and generally 4-8mm in thickness. A complete tank body generally needs 4-6 pieces of aluminum plates to be welded together, including the tank body/Cylinder, Head and Bulkhead/Wash Board all can be made of aluminum plates. The tank body/Cylinder is an important part of the oil tanker. Generally, 5083-H32/5454-H32/5182-O/H111 aluminum plates are used.
