Tranexamic acid is a protease inhibitor.
It can inhibit the catalytic effect of protease on hydrolysis of peptide bond, thus preventing the activity of enzymes such as inflammatory protease, further inhibiting the disorder of epidermal cell function at black spot site, inhibiting melanin enhancement factor group, and completely cutting off the way of melanin formation due to ultraviolet radiation. That is to say, black spots will no longer be thickened, enlarged and increased, thus effectively preventing and improving skin pigmentation.
