Respiratory infections caused by viruses appears mainly in children, the elderly and immunocompromised patients. This freeze-dried virus RT-PCR detection reagent kit contains one set of Primers and Fluorescent Probes to differentiate between the new virus 2019 and sars(or bat SARS related CoV). The probes are readout in different channels. The new virus RNA targets are amplified and detected in the FAM channel, the virus 2019 (or bat SARS related CoV) RNA targets are amplified and detected in the HEX, VIC or JOE channel (depending on the equipment used).

It also includes a Positive Control (PTC) and Negative Control (NTC). The positive control is supplied to demonstrate that the PCR amplification is working efficiently with the supplied components.
