Product Description
Belt filter press is a device that achieves solid-liquid separation through pressurized gravity dehydration. It is a device used to filter water from sludge and ultimately produce non-liquid filter cake.The belt filter press dehydration process can be divided into four important stages: pretreatment, gravity dehydration, wedge zone pre-pressing dehydration and squeezing dehydration.

Process Flow 
1, Chemical pretreatment dehydration:
In order to improve the dehydration of the mud, improve the properties of the filter cake, and increase the permeability of the material, the mud needs to be chemically treated. This machine uses a unique "water flocculation mixing mixer" device to achieve the effect of chemical dosing and flocculation. The flocculated mud is gradually added to the filter belt, so that the free water outside the flocs enters the gravity dehydration zone.
2,Press roller system: It is composed of rollers arranged in order from large to small diameter. When the slurry is clamped by the upper and lower filter belts and passes through the press rolls in turn, a small to large pressure gradient is formed under the action of the filter belt tension, which makes the squeezing force of the slurry continuously increase during the dewatering process. The middle moisture is gradually removed.
3,Gravity dehydration zone: After the slurry is pumped into the slurry mixing tank and mixed with the polymer coagulant, the fine suspended particles in the slurry are bridged by the polymer coagulant to form large particles in the form of latex(floc). The method overflows from the upper end of the mixing tank and flows into the subsequent ppress dehydration operation.
4,Pre-pressure dehydration zone:
After gravity dehydration of slurry, the fluidity is obviously worse, but it is still difficult to meet the requirements of sludge fluidity in the press dewatering section. Therefore, a wedge-shaped pre-pressing dehydration is added between the sludge dewatering section and the gravity dewatering section. In this section, the sludge is dewatered by slight squeezing to remove the free water on its surface, and its fluidity is almost completely lost. This ensures that the sludge will not be squeezed out in the dewatering section under normal conditions. Create conditions for pressing dehydration
5,Pressurized dehydration zone:
When the slurry leaves the wedge-shaped pre-pressing dehydration zone, it enters the pressure zone. The mud is squeezed in this zone. The pressure along the running direction of the filter belt increases as the diameter of the squeeze roll decreases. At this time, the mud cake is basically formed, and the water content of the mud cake can be reduced to a minimum after high pressure in the high pressure zone at the end of the pressure.
