Lurasidone is an atypical antipsychotic drug. Compared with other existing anti-schizophrenia drugs, lurasidone has a unique chemical structure. It is believed to have a positive effect on dopamine D2, serotonin (5-HTChemicalbook 2A), and serotonin (5-HT7) receptors. Affinity, has an antagonistic effect in these receptors. In addition, lurasidone has a partial agonistic effect on serotonin (5-HT1A) receptors, and has no obvious affinity for histamine H1 or muscarinic M1 receptors.
