When do we need to use oil drain plug key?

Under ideal condition, we should be seeking to change oil every three months or 3,000 miles (4,800 km). If we are driving around in high temperature conditions or dusty, we even need to replace the oil more often than that. 
And before we replace the oil of our car, we should loosen the Oil Drain Plug.
