iClean® Viral Transport System (VTM-RT) offered by HCY is intended for the collection, storage, and transport of clinical specimens containing viruses, chlamydiae, mycoplasma, or ureaplasma from the collection site to the testing laboratory. It provides swabs for sample collection and labeled screw-cap tubes containing Viral Transport Medium (VTM) for culture, storage, and transport of biological specimen.

It is recommended that specimen be refrigerated at 2-8ºC or kept on wet ice following collection and while in transit. If there will be a long delay before procession, specimen should be frozen at -70ºC or colder and transported on dry ice.
