Introduction
Saliphenesin is a broad spectrum preservative with good anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. It can be used as a single component preservative or can be combined with other preservatives to boost the effectiveness.

Advantages
• Saliphenesin is a pure substance, free from solvents and diluents, hence its sufficient in cosmetic products is low.
• Saliphenesin also prevents the product from going through color changes, pH changes,
emulsion breakdown and disagreeable odor.
• It does not enhance fat oxidation, as which often occurs with phenolic preservatives. It does not denature proteins.
• Saliphenesin is a low-toxicity antibacterial and anti-fungal agent.
• Saliphenesin is heat stable and compatible with all the other ingredients used in the personal care products. It is well tolerated by the skin.

Application
• Saliphenesin is used for the preservation of cosmetics, including creams, lotions, masks, gels,
sprays, sticks, serums, shampoos, conditioners, etc.
• They are also widely used in makeup products such as eye liners & mascaras.
• Saliphenesin is also used as a therapeutic, prophylactic and preserving agent in dermatological
and pharmaceutical preparations.

Dosage/ Mode of Incorporation
• Dosage: 0.1 - 0.3%.
• Mode of Incorporation: Saliphenesin can be incorporated into the water phase by stirring, previously heated to50-80 C.
Storage
It can be stored in its original packaging, at 20-30C.
Regulatory Status
Saliphenesin is a globally approved (USA, EU, Japan, Australia, Canada) ingredient. Maximum concentration 0.3%.

Concentration of MIC: 0.001%, 0.005%, 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5%

Results: The challenge test for foam cleansing with Saliphenesin (at 0.15%) was successful since none of the test organisms survived over 28 days of the test period.

Re: Yes, Sample are available. For normal products, samples are for free and you just need to bear the freight; For those high value products, you just need to freight and certain product cost.
