Definition: in order to reduce the wear caused by material scouring on equipment parts, a layer of wear-resistant material is coated on the surface of equipment parts to protect the base material of equipment parts.
1. The wear-resistant coating formed by plasma spraying, arc spraying, flame spraying on the metal surface spraying ceramics, alloys, oxides, fluoroplastics and so on is called thermal spraying wear-resistant coating.
2. The use of a variety of resins, elastomers, such as the preparation of wear-resistant coating glue, coated to the metal surface after natural or heat curing wear-resistant coating known as the chemical adhesive coating wear-resistant coating.
Wear resistant coatings can be divided into the following kinds:
(1) adhesive wear resistant coating. The adhesive wear resistant coating can be divided into soft support surface coating and hard support surface coating.
(2) wear-resistant particle wear coating
(3) wear-resistant coating
(4) erosion wear resistance coating
The wear-resisting coatings obtained by thermal spraying and chemical adhesive coating have excellent wear-resisting properties. Thermal spraying process needs special equipment and skilled operation technology, general coating is relatively thin, large area construction efficiency is higher. At present, the commonly used wear-resisting coating can choose tungsten carbide, nickel base alloy, iron base alloy, molybdenum, chromium, oxide ceramic and other materials as the wear-resisting layer, can also be developed for customers to customize the wear-resisting coating.
