Description
It is a barrier emulsion based on cationic acrylate system with excellent water barrier properties. Excellent water-repellent (Cobb, immersion) performance and additional reinforcement.It has excellent mechanical stability, and is suitable for the in-pulp addition of paper making and paper meal molds. It can also be applied to the surface treatment process of paper making, paper processing, films processing and non-woven processing, and is matched with various coating methods.

The main Application & Usage:
Waterproof treatment for absorbent substrates such as pulp molded products, paper and paperboard, films, and non-woven.
It is suitable for pulp adding directly or surface application. When adding in the pulp, it is recommended to use soft water to dilute 5-20 times. The typical dosage is1-3% (relative to the dry pulp), when used in combination with the cationic oil-repellent agent, should be added after the oil-repellent agent is added and uniformly mixed with the pulp, and anionic substances should be avoided during the system. It can be used alone or in a compounding system. Multiple coating at the same coating amount can significantly improve the film hiding and barrier properties of GL202 compared to a single coating. Matching coating methods include metering rods, scrapers, steam knives, intaglios, etc. It is recommended to conduct a lab test before formal use to determine the best application conditions.
