Product Desciption

Description:
Surtek 3959 is a one-component elastic bonding adhesive based on silicon-modified polymer. It combines the advantages of both polyurethane and silicone, and thus is a new generation elastic adhesive. It is free of silicone, isocyanate and solvent. It cures quickly to form durable elastomer when in contact with moisture at ambient temperature.

Aplication:
Surtek 3959 can be used for the elastic bonding and joint sealing for metal, wood and plastic. It is widely used at bus body, railway carriage, container, equipment engineering, air-conditioning and ventilation, ship building industries, etc.

Adhesion:
Surtek 3959 has good adhesion on metal (fresh, parkerized, galvanized, painted), stainless steel, copper, aluminium (fresh, anodized, painted), glass, PC, PUR, ABS, polyester, most thermal plastics, EPDM, PS,PA, PVC, etc.. But prior test is absolutely necessary. For some substrates, the use of activator and/or primer will help to achieve optimal adhesion.

Cleaning:
Clean surface to ensure the surface being clean, dry, free of oil, grease, and of sound quality.

Aplication of sealant:
Cut tip to desired shape and size. Puncture airtight seal. Install with hand or power operated gun
and extrude the sealant into the joint. Clean excess sealant using hard rubber plate or finger wet
with soap solution.

Package:
310ml cartridge, 20 cartridges per carton
400ml, 600ml sausage, 20 sausages per carton

Storage and Shelf Life:
Store in a cool and dry place (10~25 °C recommended). Avoid damage to the package. When stored at the recommended conditions in original, unopened containers, this product shelf life is 9 month (cartridge), 6 month (sausage).
