EsmollolhydrochlorideHcl chemical name (±)-3-{4- [2-hydroxy-3 -(1-methylethylamino) propoxy] phenyl} prop’ionic acid methyl ester hydrochloride, is a kind of ultra-short-acting selective β1 receptor blocker of aromatic oxypropylamine. Inhibition of β1 receptor mainly through competition for catecholamine binding sites can slow down resting and exercise heart rate, reduce blood pressure and myocardial oxygen consumption. At the same time, it has the characteristics of quick onset, high bioavailability, short half-life, precise curative effect and low side effects. At present, it is mainly used for the treatment of ventricular arrhythmia and acute myocardial ischemia, and also has obvious curative effect on acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, postoperative hypertension and other diseases.
