Metal Hardware Supplies Mild Steel Round Bar

Galvanised Dowel Bars are used in concrete joining to control and prevent the cracking within the concrete slab and to form contraction joints in concrete slabs.
The smooth round bar allows movement in the joint due to shrinkage and temperature changes.

Description
Structural grade round dowels are friction cut to length, not cropped. They are available in a variety of standard, off-the-shelf sizes. Round dowels are manufactured from AS/NZS 3679.1 compliant Grade 300 steel, and are hot-dipped galvanised to AS/NZS 4680.

  • Available in 16mm, 20mm, 24mm 30mm, 32mm,60mm diameter standard dowel sizes.
  • Available in 4 standard lengths:           
           400mm length: 16mm & 20mm
           450mm length:  24mm & 33mm
           500mm length: 16mm & 20mm
           600mm length: 16mm & 20mm
  • Dowels manufactured from AS/NZS 3679.1, Grade 300 steel.
  • Hot dipped galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 as standard.
  • Fiction cut dowels, not cropped.
  • Custom lengths available upon request. Minimum order quantites will apply.
