Electrical Resistivity Instrument Underground Water Finder Geophysical Survey Equipment for Groundwater Exploration Ves Survey DC Resistivity Meter
Electrical Resistivity method is one geophysics method which is used in the investigation of groundwater. Some recent studies about detection ground water using Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method. The VES is a geoelectrical method for measuring vertical change of electrical resistivity. The VES gives detail information on the vertical succession of different conducting zones or formations andtheir individual thickness and true resistivity below a given point on the earth surface. The principle of VES method is injected electric current into the earth through two electrode currents. Thepotential difference that occurs is measured through two electrodes potential. The results of measurementof current and potential difference for each particular electrode spacing, can be determined variations ofresistivity value below the measuring point (the point of sounding).
Main Applications and Features1 By utilizing the apparent resistivity parameters, it is widely used in hydrology, environmental protection, engineering geophysical exploration, metal and non-metal mineral resources exploration.
2 Microcomputer controlled, direct-reading resistivity, various electrode arranging mode, data protection against power-failure
3 This instrument applies to Electrical Prospecting such as Vertical Electrical Sounding, Electrical Profiling, Charging Method and Spontaneous Potential Method, etc. On ground and in trench.
