Description: ER309LMO is an ultra low carbon stainless steel cored wire. The weld metal has low carbon content. Because of the addition of Mo, it has excellent crack resistance and corrosion resistance.At the same time, ER309LMO flux cored wire has good welding process performance, stable arc, small splash, excellent forming, and can be used for all position welding.

Application: It is used for welding the same type of steel and dissimilar steel.

Matters needing attention and operating points:

1. The welding place shall be completely removed from oil, rust, moisture and other surface impurities to prevent the occurrence of pores and cracks during welding. When cleaning, the groove surface and its surroundings shall be polished out with metallic luster.

2. In order to obtain good mechanical properties of the welding seam, it is recommended to use pure CO2 as the protective gas for welding. The flow rate of the protective gas should be 20-25L/min, and the dry-extension length should be 15-25mm.

3. The above suggestions on welding methods, conditions and specifications are for reference only. Users shall conduct process evaluation according to their own welding characteristics before using the welding wire for formal product welding.
