Introduction:

Promoted chloride adsorbent is a white spherical surface modified adsorbent with higher adsorption capacity, making it an ideal choice for reliably removing HCl from liquid and gas flows to much less than 0.1ppmV. Due to its high porosity and bimetallic properties, AM-CA-35 has excellent chlorination capacity.

The combination of proprietary manufacturing techniques and superior mass transfer properties provides for rapid adsorption and maximum service life with fewer recharge requirements. Furthermore, the low alumina content and resultant low available alumina surface area minimizes the tendency for organochloride and green oil by-product formation.

AM-CA-35 uses chemical reactions to remove trace amounts of hydrogen chloride from refinery flows and gases.
