Introduction:

Econazole (commonly used as the nitrate salt) is an antifungal medication of the imidazol class. It is used as a cream under the brand names Spectazole (United States), Ecostatin (Canada), Pevaryl (Western Europe), and Pevisone (the latter consisting of the combination econazole/triamcinolone) to treat skin infections such asathlete's foot, tinea, pityriasis versicolor, ringworm, and jock itch. 

Function

Mainly used as the imidazol epoxy resin curing agent, in Japan accounted for less than half of the consumption imidazol medicament, its dosage for 0.5% to 10% of the epoxy resin imidazol compounds can be used for antifungal drugs, resistance to mildew agent, hypoglycemia medications, artificial plasma and so on, also can be used as treatment, artificial plasma and so on,also can be used as treatment trichomonad disease and Turkey black head of disease drugs.

Application

It is used for the treatment of skin candidiasis; it can also be used for the treatment of tinea corporis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, tinea versicolor, etc.
