1. Application of liquid molding silicone rubber for craft molds 

Silicone RTV-2 for molding mainly used for shoe molds, sand casting, sole sampling, plaster models, simple products, products with non-complex patterns, as well as product models with stable size and non-deformation.



2. Operation instruction of liquid molding silicone rubber for craft molds 

Silicone RTV-2 for molding is composed of two components. Component A is white flowing liquid while component B is the curing agent.


Steps of liquid molding silicone rubber for craft molds 

A. Take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly.
B. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.
C. After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.

Note: Brushing molding silicone rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say,

1) fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate,
2) enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon,
3) mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100: 2 and pour them onto the sole model,
At last brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.


3. Storage and Precautions of Silicone RTV-2 for molding

Silicone RTV-2 for molding, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
Warm tips :

1. As addition cure silicone is a kind of platinum cure system ,which will be easy to cause uncure problem ,so 

Kindly follow the tips below :
*Do not mix with liquid condensation silicone rubber or even the tool which used for condensation silicone 
*Do not mix with organic matter which contains N, S, P organics and ionic compound like Sn, As,Hg, Ph,
*Do not add any pigment or powder into the addition cure silicone rubber without any testing to prevent uncure problem
