General attributes:
F55 / UNS S32760 is a super duplex stainless steel. Contains 0.75% tungsten and copper, 25% chromium (austenite / ferrite) steel. The alloy's PREn (pitting equivalent) number is> 40.0, which ensures high pitting resistance. Zeron 100 has high mechanical strength, good ductility, and corrosion resistance to the marine environment at both atmospheric and sub-zero temperatures. Good resistance to abrasion, corrosion and cavitation and can also be used in the working environment of acid media.
Mainly used in oil and gas and offshore applications, typically in pressure vessels, choke valves, Christmas trees, flanges and piping systems.
