Our flat die pellet machines are devided into two series, the KL series pellet mills and the MKL series pellet mills. KL series pellet mills can both press feed pellets and wood sawdust pellets, but it's better to make animal feed pellets. Our MKL series pellet mills have the special design for making wood pellets.

What are the differences between D type pellet mills and R type pellet mills?
D type, literally is called rotating die type while R type is called rotating roller type. Mechanically, the prominent difference lies in motion pattern of die and roller, and transmission components. In terms of price, with the same configuration (capacity, power, etc), D type pellet mill is cheaper than R type because the latter has smarter design of pelletizing process and a better gearbox, though both types of pellet mill are competent of making quality pellets.
Working principle of the wood pellet making machine
1.It can process the oil cake and other mixed waste material to granule at one time. And it is columned granule feed and have slippery firm.
2.During the process of producing granule, the temperature can almost reach 70 to 80 centigrade. It can make flour into paste. The inner granule is cooked and fully penetrated, so that not easy to go moldy and degenerative. Then it can be stored for a long time and improve poultry dainty and assimilation function.
Kinds of Raw Materials and Pellets
Raw material size before pelletizing
The maximum size of the materials cannot exceed the diameter of the pelletizing hole. For example, if the diameter of the hole is 6mm, the length of the raw material cannot be more than 6mm. Please ensure the proper size of raw material according to the diameter of the hole. The pellet size can be 2.5-10mm, if you want to make animal feed pellets, 2.5mm and 4mm are ok, if you want to make the wood pellets, 6mm and 8mm are better.
Moisture content before pelletizing
Wood Pellet Mill has a wide range, It is used for pressing materials such as grain, firewood, stalk, tree branches, wood meal, fruit hull, palm and tailing of cotton plant, and widely used for recycle of livestock farms, biomass fuel plant, power plant, wood processing plant, fertilizer plant, chemical plant, food plant and cotton plant. The pellet length and size can be adjustable depend on your demands. It's easy to operate and can be moved everywhere.
