In patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, the product can be used to reduce elevated total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B in combination with dietary control and non-dietary therapy.

In combination with dietary control, the product may be used to reduce total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides in adolescent boys and girls aged 10-17 years with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (at least 1 year after menarche).
