Mainly used in manufacturing batteries, coatings, warheads, welding materials, chemicals, lead salt, cable sheath, bearing materials, caulking materials, babbitt alloy and X-ray protection materials, etc
Lead ingots are rectangular, blue-white metal and softer. Density 11.34g/cm3, melting point 327ºC
1, lead ingot surface shall not have slag, particulate oxygen, inclusion and foreign pollution.
2. Lead ingot shall not have cold insulation and shall not have flap-edge burr greater than 10mm (trimming is allowed).
Test method: Arbitration analysis method of chemical composition of lead ingot is carried out according to GB/T4103 "Chemical Analysis method of Lead and Lead alloy".
Transport storage
1. The lead ingot should be shipped by means of transport with non-corrosive substances to prevent it from being rained on.
2. Lead ingots should be stored in a ventilated, dry and non-corrosive storage room.
3. In the process of transportation and storage of lead ingot, the white, gray or yellow white film generated on the surface is determined by the natural oxidation properties of lead and shall not be used as scrap basis.
